In a vibrant display of tradition and culture, Nana Ntifu Kwagyan III, the rchief of Akyem Awisa and Akyempimhene of Akyem Kotoku State, assembled about four schools within the Awisa township on June 3rd 2025 to impart a vital message to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.
With the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) looming, Nana Ntifu Kwagyan III emphasized the importance of hard work and academic excellence to candidates from Methodist, Presbyterian, Islamic and Salvation Army schools.
Drawing inspiration from the biblical text: “Study to show yourself approved unto service” (2 Timothy 2:15), the Akyempimhene of Akyem Kotoku State urged the students to strive for excellence in their studies.
He reminded them that their parents and the government have invested significantly in their education, and it is their responsibility to prove themselves worthy of this support.
To reinforce his message, Nana Ntifu Kwagyan III generously donated over 200 mathematical sets to the students to use for their exams.
This gesture not only demonstrated his commitment to their education but also served as a tangible reminder of the importance of hard work and determination.
As the students prepare to sit for their exams, Nana Ntifu Kwagyan III’s words of wisdom resonate deeply.
By studying hard and passing their exams, they will not only bring joy to their parents but also demonstrate their appreciation for the government’s support.
Ultimately, their academic success will be a testament to their own potential and a beacon of hope for their communities.
The headteachers of the various schools were happy and pleaded with the Chief to sustain his support for BECE candidates on a yearly basis.
