Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, a presidential aspirant hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged to bring back Alan Kyerematen and other suspended members if he is elected as president.
Speaking at the official launch of his campaign office in Accra, Agyapong stated that he would ensure that these individuals receive the stipends they deserve.
Agyapong also emphasized the need for Ghanaians to move beyond materialism, which he believes is destroying the country.
“We, the people of Ghana, have become enablers,” he said. “Sometimes when people get into political office, we are the same people who are urging them on.”
He contrasted this with his own experience as Press Secretary to the President, where he did not accumulate wealth through corrupt means. Instead, he built his estate through his work as a civil engineering consultant.
