For several hours yesterday, the nation’s premier military hospital had to do without electric power.

Sources at the hospital revealed that the problem started at about 05.00 am in the morning, and persisted till late yesterday.
As at about 8.00 pm (20.00 hours) power had still not been restored, even though the Electricity Company of Ghana had managed to get the mortuary re-connected by evening.
The source of the problem was yet to be identified, but was said to have engulfed the area right to the Hilla Limann Highway (Kanda Estates) right to the Jubilee House.
