Nyankpala, Tolon Constituency, November 4, 2024 – The Chief of Nyankpala, Naa Nyankpalana Mohammed Iddrisu, has extended heartfelt praise to Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, for his dedication and exceptional work for Ghana. During a courtesy call at his palace on Monday, Naa Nyankpalana commended Alan Kyerematen’s commitment to national service, predicting divine support for him in the upcoming elections. “Because of your good works, God will speak in your favor,” the Chief assured, underscoring his belief in Alan’s ability to bring the leadership Ghana needs.
Naa Nyankpalana’s encouraging words came as Alan’s campaign team, led by Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Sidique, Senior Advisor, visited the palace ahead of the Movement for Change’s Caravan Tour across the Northern Region, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 6. The delegation included Alhaji Hindu, Northern Regional Anchor; Dr. Sadique, Senior Advisor; and Alhaji Abdullah (Red), Regional Communication Director, alongside other respected members of the movement.
Alhaji Boniface expressed his gratitude to Naa Nyankpalana for his support, recounting Alan Kyerematen’s journey of dedicated public service and sacrifice. He emphasized that Alan was compelled to part ways with the NPP due to what he described as an internal push to sideline him. “In my view, Alan Kyerematen was forced out of the NPP. By the established order, he should have been the NPP’s flagbearer, but historical tradition was broken, compelling Alan to chart his own path,” Alhaji Boniface explained.
In a related development, Alhaji Boniface, speaking in a meeting with community chiefs, elders, and residents, reaffirmed that Alan Kyerematen embodies the transformational, crisis-ready leadership Ghana needs. He highlighted the nation’s challenges—deteriorating resources, economic hardships, and political complacency—urging the people to rally behind Alan’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP). “Alan is committed to production, and that is why it is in his plan to make Northern Ghana the food basket for West Africa,” Alhaji Boniface stressed.
He drew a stark comparison to Malaysia, a nation that once sought Ghana’s expertise in agriculture but has since surged ahead economically. “Malaysia came to Ghana to learn oil palm cultivation. Today, they earn over $20 billion annually from oil palm, while we are left depending on the IMF for survival. Alan Kyerematen sees Ghana’s potential and is prepared to unlock it through a focus on agriculture, industrialization, and self-reliance,” he asserted.
Highlighting Alan Kyerematen’s values of integrity and example-led leadership, Alhaji Boniface affirmed, “Alan is the kind of leader who does not merely make promises; he is a man of action, untainted by corruption. He is determined to lead a Ghana that values productivity, resilience, and responsibility.”
With enthusiasm swelling in the Northern Region, the Movement for Change Caravan Tour continues to gain momentum. As Alhaji Boniface concluded, “The journey toward national progress and prosperity begins here, with the Northern people’s unwavering support for Alan Kyerematen. Together, we can realize a future where Ghana thrives.”
The Northern Region Caravan Tour has sparked an overwhelming response, as community members await the arrival of the Afrafranto Caravan with great anticipation. Many gather well into the night to welcome the caravan, their excitement a testament to the hope and commitment that Alan Kyerematen and his team inspire. As the caravan travels through the heart of Northern Ghana, the people’s enduring support reveals a shared vision for a prosperous, self-sustaining nation.
