A renowned General Overseer of Learn From Jesus Ministries Int. in the Ashanti region, Pastor Solomon Abenyin has issued a bold statement regarding the alarming rise of self-proclaimed prophets in Ghana.
According to him, prophecies are like trash and need to be treated as such.
Speaking in an interview with Asona Dehyie Kwateng, Pastor Solomon Abenyin asserted that a significant number of individuals who claim to be prophets are actually false.
“And I have said it, and I’ll say it without any shadow of doubt,” Pastor Solomon stated.
According to him, “Based on my knowledge of the scriptures. Based on my knowledge of church history, which I have extensive knowledge of. Based on my theological reasoning. Based on my experiential observation. That about 95% of people who call themselves prophets in Ghana are quacks.*S.O.T PASTOR SOLOMON*
This comes after the government’s recent directive requiring religious leaders to submit prophecies of national significance for review.
The move, announced by the office of the presidential envoy for interfaith and ecumenical relations, follows the aftermath of the tragic August 6 military helicopter crash that killed eight high-ranking officials.
