Dede Ayew leads Ghana XI to victory over ALS XI in an exhibition match

          Accra, June 18, GNA – Black Stars Captain Andre Dede Ayew led a select side of the senior national team as they beat Arthur Legacy Stars (ALS) XI 3-2 in an exhibition match played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
          The Al Saad playmaker scored a brace to ensure victory for his side, which had the likes of Mubarak Wakaso, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Awal, and Gideon Mensah, among other players.
        Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Bernard Arthur scored the winner for the Ghana XI side with a close-range header in the second half.
        Richmond Boakye Yiadom, who was captain of the ALS XI, was among the goal scorers for his side, with AS Roma striker Felix Afena Gyan opening the scoring in a highly entertaining encounter.         Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie played full throttle for the ALS XI side and displayed some brilliance on the field of play, but his side couldn’t get the needed victory as they were overpowered by the Ghana XI side.
      Popular Ghanaian musician Black Sherif also made a surprise appearance in the football game as he also displayed some good touches with his left foot, with fans cheering on the “Second Sermon” hitmaker.
