The 2024 general election is crucial in our modern day politics where candidates are from different religious backgrounds and different ethnic groups.
As elections are fast approaching there is a need to give peace and harmony a chance regardless our political differences.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the national chairman of Ghana Muslim Mission who also doubles as CEO of Amen Scientific Herbal Hospital Sheikh Dr Amin Bonsu, he appealed to government ensure that all drinking spots are closed down on the voting day to avoid mayhem which could be caused under the influence of Alcohol and hard drugs.
Sheikh Dr Bonsu observed that the closure of ghettos and drinking spots will help the nation enjoy peace during and after the polls.
He emphasized that the security must take it upon themselves to go round ghettos and drinking spots to ensure they comply with the directives.
“Ghana has come a long way and there is a need to protect the peace that we have enjoyed over the years,” he said.
Sheikh Dr Bonsu cautioned that whoever is found violating the directives must be brought to book.
