Banda Sanwa D/A JHS in the Gbao/Sanwa electoral area in the Banda District of the Bono Region is in dire need of a modern classroom block to facilitate quality teaching and learning.
The dilapidated mud house structure housing about 61 students has been put up by the community members through a communal labour.

According to him the Unit Committee Members informed him about the dilapidated nature of the school and before man and God when he visited to the school and witnessed it himself the situation is sorrowful.
The school does not have an office for the Head teacher and the Staff. Due to that they do their markings under a tree, the Assemblyman lamented.
He described the situation as sorrowful, worrisome and unacceptable to have such a structure in this 21st century.
