The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has made a donation of relief items to the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs.
The donation was made by the Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh.
The relief items distributed to the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs form the first trench of items and are part of efforts being made to bring relief to the people in the region following the spillage.
The items were received by the Regional Minister, MMDCE, regional and District Directors, and staff of NADMO.
The items included various food items, buckets, mosquito coils, clothing, and blankets.
He noted, that while efforts are being intensified to do more to restore the lives of the affected back to normal, these interim measures are ways to mitigate the seeming dangers associated with the spillage.
