The Minister of Education headed by Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has announced to the general public to ignore the false statement attributed to the Ministry regarding cancellation of Teachers’ and Nurses’ Training allowances.
Additionally, the Ministry noted the importance of supporting and prioritizing the training of teachers and the maintenance of commitment in terms of providing necessary financial assistance in these areas.
When Daily Searchlight caught up with the Ministry, it was revealed that such ubiquitous claims or intentions to terminate these allowances are palpably false and unfounded.
However, in a press engagement, the Ministry urged the public to rely on accurate and verified information from official sources such as the Ministry of Education, Government press releases, and trusted news outlets for updates on matters concerning education and healthcare.
