The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has cautioned the general public to desist from patronizing the fraudulent link (https://recruitmentfile.net/
According to the GAF, the caution is to enable the public to exercise circumspection against fraudulent 2023/2024 recruitment advertisements.
“GAF wishes also to state that it is not conducting any enlistment or recruitment at this material time, and has not advertised such for the year 2023/2024. The public and persons interested in joining GAF should stick to the certified and official channels that GAF uses in announcing recruitments and enlistment exercise; that is the national dailies (Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times),” the forces said.
“GAF once again reiterates that it does not advertise on social media and does not engage middlemen in such exercise. Therefore, the public should take heed of the education and numerous reminders to desist from paying monies through “mobile money” to unscrupulous persons who claim to be recruitment agents of GAF,” the forces added.
A statement signed by the Naval Captain Director of Public Relations, Ma Larbi said, “In conjunction with other Security Services, such unscrupulous persons engaged in the fraudulent activities are continuously being tracked down and those arrested will be dealt with severely according to the law.
“Once again, GAF wishes to state that it is not conducting any 2023/2024 recruitment/enlistment exercise at this material time. The public is kindly advertised to take note and report any advertisement and persons soliciting monies for such exercises, to the nearest military installation or a police station.GAF requires the cooperation of the public to nib their fraudulent activities in the bud,” the statement concluded.
