Three individuals including a teenage girl are in police custody for allegedly killing a mobile money operator at a guest house around Kasoa Second in the Central Region. The suspects have been named as 59-year-old Felicia Osei Appiah, 24-year-old Clement Opoku Yeboah and a female juvenile. reportedly booked for two hours together with the juvenile, police said. The facility’s manager raised alarm after the pair failed to check out at the expected time and upon inspection discovered the victim motionless and concealed under bedsheets, curtains and pillows.
Head of Public Affairs for the Central East Regional Command, DSP Victor Kofi Dosoo, confirmed in a statement on October 28 that the body has been transported to the Police Hospital mortuary in Accra for preservation and post-mortem examination. He added that investigations are ongoing and the suspects will be arraigned once inquiries are concluded.
