The Ministry of Health has announced that its recruitment portal will open on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for the 36th batch of medical officers and dentists who have completed their housemanship and obtained verification from the Medical and Dental Council.
The recruitment exercise is intended to address staffing shortages across health facilities nationwide, with eligible applicants required to submit their applications within a limited three day window ending on Thursday, October 29.
In a notice issued on October 25, the Ministry directed qualified members of the 36th batch to apply through its official online recruitment platform, where they will be required to provide the necessary information and select their preferred districts and agencies for placement.
The portal is scheduled to open at 10 am on Tuesday, giving eligible applicants an opportunity to begin the application process and indicate their preferred locations within the stipulated period.
“Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging on to https://mohrecruitment.com and following the instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies,” the notice stated.
The Ministry emphasised that eligibility was restricted to members of the 36th batch who had completed their house jobs and whose credentials had been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.
It also cautioned applicants against individuals who might attempt to exploit the recruitment exercise by demanding money in exchange for assistance with securing employment or influencing placement decisions.
Reaffirming its commitment to a fair selection process, the Ministry urged prospective applicants not to make payments to intermediaries or anyone claiming to have the ability to guarantee recruitment.
“Kindly be informed that the recruitment process remains transparent,” the notice stated, adding that applicants should not make any payment for the exercise.
The warning serves as a reminder to prospective recruits to use the designated online platform and rely on official communications from the Ministry rather than promises of preferential treatment.
With applications closing on October 29, eligible doctors and dentists have been advised to complete their submissions within the announced deadline and carefully follow the instructions provided on the recruitment portal.
The exercise is expected to contribute to efforts to strengthen the health workforce and improve staffing levels across the country’s medical facilities.
Prospective applicants should consult the Ministry of Health’s official recruitment portal at https://mohrecruitment.com for application instructions and any subsequent updates.
