Demolition work has begun on the old Madina Zonal Council structure to pave the way for a modern 24-hour market, courtesy of the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly. The project promises more trading space, improved facilities, and a better environment for vendors at the Madina Market.
Traders will be relocated to a nearby alternative space while construction is underway, minimizing disruption to businesses. The new market aims to boost commercial activities and support local traders.
The La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly says the temporary arrangement will allow vendors affected by the demolition to continue their businesses as work progresses on the new facility.
