The opposition National Democratic Congress Party has received a modest boost, when an oil and gas
security company made a presentation of two motor bikes and an unspecified amount of money, to its
campaign.
Making the presentation at Cantonments in Accra in the presence of Company hands Pearl Enam Hatsu
and Juliet Osei all aides to Parayog Limited’s CEO, Richard Norkplim Pomeyie, also a former National
Security operative, he told the assembled guests that the presentation was his widow’s mite towards
the party’s national campaign.
CEO Pomeyie told the gathering that he hoped the little presentation was going to contribute to help
define the moment that will shape the destiny of the nation this election period, offer the youth yet
another opportunity and more importantly, thread the majority of Ghanaians along the path of
fruitfulness.
He added that ever since Ghana was given false hope of the realization of a particularly elusive dream
beginning 2017 till date, he has been most convinced beyond all reasonable doubts that, the scales have
fallen off the teary eyes and that the populace could now clearly see which of the two political puddings
(NDC and NPP), was ripe for eating.
Mr. Pomeyie added that “having weighed all political options on offer he deems it extremely important
to present to the campaign team the two GY7 C motor bikes and the money, to help advance the cause
of the campaign and particularly the 24-hour economy.”
Receiving the items in the presence of other members of presidential campaigner Mr. John Mahama’s
team, spokesperson Mrs. Joyce Bawa Mogtari expressed satisfaction with the gesture and hoped other
well-meaning Ghanaian institutions and individuals would emulate the example, to help explore the
opening of the hinterland for a no-holes-barred campaign.
She stated emphatically that the presentation had arrived at a good time when more logistics could still
pour in to help advance the NDC cause, to help redeem impoverished Ghanaians from hunger and
poverty.
