Arsenal scored a last-gasp winner to beat Manchester United in a thrilling affair and take a huge step towards the Premier League title.

United entered the match knowing they really needed a win to keep their own slim title chances alive and made the perfect start when Marcus Rashford gave them the lead after 17 minutes.

It was a stunning goal, and one that left Twitter users everywhere in awe of just how well he’s playing at the moment.

The visitors weren’t ahead for long though with Nketiah finishing off a fluid Arsenal move seven minutes later to make it 1-1.

It was Granit Xhaka who sent in the cross for the forward, and the midfielder gained the plaudits for his fifth assist of the season.

There was little to choose between the two teams for the rest of the first half as they both pushed for a goal but cancelled each other out in a high-quality affair.

Going into the break though, United were certainly the happier of the two sides with Arsenal’s finishing below par.

Saka had seen his team-mates miss a number of opportunities in the opening 45 minutes so took matter into his own hands eight minutes into the second half.

His goal was a stunning one, but it was his celebration that caught the eye of many, with him stealing it from the man who opened the scoring.

Erik ten Hag’s side responded excellently to going behind and were level again after just six minutes thanks to Lisandro Martinez.

Many had once said that the Argentine centre-back is too short to succeed in England, so the irony of him scoring a header was clear to see.

After that though, United were pushed back into their own half as Arsenal started to dominate the match, concering fans of the away side.

Despite that though, it looked like the Red Devils would hold on and head back up north with a point in the bag as the game entered its final minutes.

However, with just one minute of normal time remaining, Nketiah tapped in a shot from Martin Odegaard to seemingly give his team a huge win.

It briefly looked like he’d be denied when VAR checked for an offside, but the goal was ultimately given, to the confusion of some watching on who hadn’t been shown the check on TV.

United didn’t have time to get back into the game after that with Arsenal going five points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand over Manchester City.

The title fight isn’t over yet, but it’s starting to look like the Gunners will finally win the Premier League again.

With 19 league matches left for them to play, it’s undoubtedly theirs to lose as it stands.
