Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Ivan Perisic on a free transfer from Inter.
The wide man previously worked under Spurs manager Antonio Conte as part of the 2020/21 title-winning squad in Serie A
Perisic has signed a two-year contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, keeping him at the club until 2024 at the earliest.
In a statement, Tottenham said: “We are delighted to announce the transfer of Ivan Perisic.
“The vastly experienced Croatia international will join the Club on 1 July following the expiration of his contract at Internazionale and has agreed a deal that will run until 2024.”
Before his time in Italy Perisic enjoyed a successful period in Germany, playing for Borussia Dortmund – where he won the league title in his first season – and Wolfsburg.
The 33-year-old joined Inter in 2015 before returning to the Bundesliga on loan to Bayern Munich in 2019, where he would win the Champions League at the end of the season.
The following campaign would bring Serie A success under Spurs boss Conte.
Known for his ability as a winger, Perisic has shone at wing-back at Inter and was arguably his side’s best player last season.
