Man kills mother over father’s GHC 2000.00 funeral donation

Question; How stupid can one be?

A man has killed his own mother over donations made during the funeral of his late father.

The incident happened at about 05.30 am this morning at Dome Market in Accra.

The amount involved is alleged to be about GHC2000.00 (two thousand Ghana cedis).

The murdered woman was raising the daughter of her killer at the time of the killing.

The police were at scene this morning and had cordoned off the crime scene, which was under guard.

Eyewitnesses expressed grief at the crime.

An eyewitness said they saw the mother and son struggling at dawn. Later the son bolted from the scene, leaving his mother drenched in blood.

She is believed to have been stabbed.
