The Nkawkaw constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region has stated that it would be politically and developmentally prudent for governments in the 21st century to prioritize policies that are established in order of importance, urgency rather than unfounded promises and political fantasies that in the end cause disaffection, disagreements in societies.
Giving a devout speech at an event organized for purposes of raising funds for the Okwahu United Football Club at Obuoba Village, the Chairman, who is an ardent fan of the football fraternity and was once in the helm of affairs of that football club granted that the all-important Sports Stadium will be built at an opportune time.
Mr. Andy Kwaku Ameyaw doubles as the Board Chairman for the Mponua Rural Bank, Ghana. He used the occasion to break his silence on the construction of the Sports Stadium which has generated controversial opinions and discussions for over two years hitherto.
The fundraising event was honored with the presence of leading officials from the sporting community, political administrators, and the media.
He praised all who have in diverse ways contributed to the Okwahu United Football Club since its inception and pledged his unwavering support and assistance anytime, anyhow.
