A young man believed to be about 35 years old is said to have died instantly when a Kia Truck with registration number AW-8324-14 run over his head at Ayumso near Goaso in the Ahafo region.
The incident happened on Monday, February 21, 2022 around 9:00am.
An eyewitness, Don Safety told the Daily Searchlight that the man identified as Samuel “Sammy Tuga” was on board of the truck and unfortunately fell from it at a sharp curve and landed on the road right at the back tyre of the truck.
According to Don Safety, the deceased was sitting at one end of the truck bucket on their way to load some lumbers from the bush and accidentally the bucket opened subsequently he fell and the truck run over his head.

t, Public Relations Officer for Ahafo Regional Police Command, ASP Kwame Loh revealed the sad incident happened around 9:00am on Monday morning on Ayumso-Gyasikrom road where they were going load some lumbers from the bush.

According to ASP Loh, the deceased was making a call without holding any metals on the truck. Unfortunately he fell from the Kia Rhino truck with registration number AW-8324-14.
He added that the deceased was rushed to Goaso Government Hospital and later pronounced dead by medical personnel. The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary awaiting for autopsy.
