The campaign manager for Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, Mr Kwame Owusu at a emergency press briefing has stated that team Kennedy will petitioned the disciplinary committee of the New Patriotic Party of the fallout from the supper delegates Congress.
According to him, conduct of some of party members at the just ended supper delegates Congress last Saturday needs to be addressed by the elections Committee of the Party.
Some delegates during the Saturday exercise went contrary to the elections rules by showing their cast ballot to camera. According to him, the future elections should be open for the media so that the camera’s can see any moment of the party members and officials as well.
Three victims who suffered various injuries from the Saturday supper delegates Congress shared their ordeal with the media. According to Charles Addo, Bono East Youth Organizer, he was beaten by some party members and later reported the case to regional chairman. Hajia Humu Daleli, at North East region, she was chased by some party members because she raised a concern about some delegates showing their cast ballots to public.
On the issue of the show down comment by Kennedy Agyepong, he said what he really meant is that Kennedy Agyepong will beat Bawumia in the November 4th polls at his own backyard

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has referred Kennedy Agyapong, a flagbearer aspirant, to the party’s disciplinary committee following his confrontational threats during the Super Delegate Conference on August 26.
The incident occurred during the nationwide conference, where Agyapong expressed his frustration after his agent was unexpectedly removed from a polling center.
Agyapong, who represents Assin Central in Parliament, can be observed making strong threats against President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia in response to the alleged mistreatment of his agents.
He stated, “President Akufo-Addo, I will give you a showdown in this country, I swear to God. Vice President, I will give you a showdown for chasing my agent away. I swear to God. You will hear what will happen here. I swear to God, I will challenge President Akufo-Addo big time.”
