The Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament, Hon. Abena Osei Asare, has commended the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, Esq., for his impressive performance and in-depth knowledge of the Authority’s operations.
Hon. Osei Asare gave the commendation during a working visit to the NPA headquarters earlier today, Wednesday, October 22nd, 2026.

According to her, she was extremely impressed when Mr. Tameklo appeared before the Public Accounts Committee last week to answer questions on the operations and accounts of the NPA.
She noted that the NPA CEO demonstrated exceptional mastery of all areas of the Authority’s mandate — from petroleum regulation and pricing to downstream operations and consumer protection.
“His level of knowledge in all areas of NPA’s operations was impressive,” Hon. Abena Asare said, describing it as a proud moment for the management and staff of the NPA.
The visit is part of the PAC’s continued engagement with public institutions to promote accountability and effective public financial management.
Mr. Godwin Kudzo Tameklo was appointed Chief Executive of the NPA in early 2025 and has since led reforms in the petroleum downstream sector.
