Mr. Sebastian Obeng, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), nominee, has expressed his profound gratitude to President Mahama for nominating him to lead local government structure in the Municipality.
He was also thankful to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo, National, Regional, and Constituency Executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their unwavering support and guidance.
He expressed this appreciation in a statement copied Ghana News Agency after the President released the first batch of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives.
He was optimistic that he would be approved to bring the desired development to the area.
“To my fellow party members, your encouragement and commitment have been invaluable during this journey.
“Together, we have built a strong foundation based on our core values of integrity, service, and accountability,” he said.
Mr. Obeng assured the people of his unwavering commitment to good and effective leadership.
He continued that: “Together, we will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our community, enhance local governance, and foster sustainable development.”
Mr. Obeng pledged to operate an open-door policy, saying, “I will always be open to your ideas and concerns, for it is through collaboration and unity that we will achieve our goals.”
He also called for peace and unity and a shared vision among the people for a prosperous future for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai.
