Marcus Rashford has no desire to leave Manchester United this summer, 90min understands, with incoming manager Erik ten Hag looking forward to working with the England international.

The 24-year-old endured a tricky 2021/22 campaign in which he started just 13 Premier League games, and he lost his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad as a result.

Following Ten Hag’s move to Manchester weeks ago, the Dutchman held talks with Rashford to determine what the future holds and sources have confirmed to 90min that both parties indicated a desire to keep working together.

Rashford wants to stay at Old Trafford to prove himself and Ten Hag is excited to work with the forward to try and get the best out of him.

Ten Hag’s assistant, Steve McClaren, is also known to be an enormous fan of Rashford and he is determined to help the Englishman return to form for both club and country – a desire shared by Ten Hag.
