Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are among the clubs that have been briefed by intermediaries regarding a potential summer move for Neymar, 90min understands.
Neymar only signed a new, long-term deal at Paris Saint-Germain last year but his immediate future is far from certain.
Recently, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi refused to confirm that the superstar would be staying in Paris beyond this summer, warning that PSG’s ‘bling-bling’ players may be let go. These comments were reported to have angered Neymar, who is considering his future as a result.
90min understands that the club hierarchy is split over the prospect of selling the forward this summer. PSG’s Qatari owners are unsure about letting him leave before the 2022 World Cup in the winter, but other decision makers at Parc de Princes are open to the sale.
Neymar’s representatives are already exploring the small market that would be able to afford his hefty wages. Sources have indicated to 90min that both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Milan have all been contacted by intermediaries regarding a summer move.

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly would likely be interested in the transfer and he is hoping to make a statement signing this window.
The Blues’ chances of landing Neymar may be increased by Thiago Silva’s presence at the club. Neymar’s long-time international teammate recently urged the 30-year-old to join him at Stamford Bridge.
“He has to go to Chelsea,” Silva said. “If it happens, it will be for the best. Nothing else needs to be said. “So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition.”
