It was a bittersweet afternoon for Wrexham supporters and Ryan Reynolds lovers two Sundays ago as the Welsh club came ever so close to recording an unforgettable FA Cup upset.

Victory over Championship high-flyers Sheffield United was just minutes away following Paul Mullin’s strike amid a wild second half of vintage cup football. But the Blades, who had been reduced to ten men after Danny Jebbison’s dismissal, refused to succumb at the Racecourse Ground.

John Egan restored parity at 3-3 in stoppage time to force a replay against the galvanised National League outfit. Thus, Wrexham will make the trip to Bramall Lane on Wednesday night with a home tie against Tottenham on the line. It’s a huge outing for Reynolds and company, with many poised to tune in to watch the action unfold.

Here’s how you can watch Wrexham’s FA Cup fourth round replay against Sheffield United.

Reality seemed to strike early in Wrexham’s tie with Sheffield United first time out when Oli McBurnie nodded in to give the visitors in the second minute.

However, strikes from James Jones and Tom O’Connor had the Racecourse rocking as the hosts went 2-1 up just after the hour mark.

Oliver Norwood equalised before the Blades had Daniel Jebbison sent off, giving Wrexham a boost in their cupset chase. Paul Mullin’s goal looked to have sealed a famous win, but John Egan. converted late on to take the game to a replay.

The winners of this FA Cup fourth round replay will host Tottenham in the fifth round later in February.

Spurs beat Preston 3-0 to book their fifth round spot and produced an upset in the Premier League on Sunday when they beat Manchester City 1-0.
