Newcastle United will look to return to winning ways when they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Magpies surrendered a third-minute lead to draw 1-1 at home to West Ham United last time out, meaning they’ve endured a stalemate in four of their last five Premier League matches,

However, Newcastle remain fourth in the Premier League table and with a Carabao Cup final against Manchester United to look forward to, things are definitely on the up in the North East.

Eddie Howe will look to increase the misery on his former club Bournemouth, who have lost seven and drawn one of their last eight matches across all competitions and remain rooted in the bottom three.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match:

Bournemouth team news

David Brooks, Junior Stanislas and Ryan Fredericks all remain sidelined, as do Lloyd Kelly and Jack Stephens, who both missed the Brighton match last time out with calf injuries.

Dominic Solanke, Lewis Cook and Marcus Tavernier could all return for this match, but remain doubtful.

Bournemouth starting 11 (4-4-2): Neto; Smith, Mepham, Senesi, Zemura; Ouattara, Pearson, Lerma, Anthony; Semenyo, Moore.

Newcastle team news

Bruno Guimaraes remains suspended, while Emil Krafth, Javier Manquillo and Matt Targett are all still injured.

Alexander Isak missed the West Ham match last time out due to concussion protocol but should be good to return here.

Newcastle predicted 11 (4-3-3): Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Willock, Longstaff, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Gordon.

Newcastle have struggled to convert draws into victories in the league of late, making them slightly less comfortable in the Champions League race than they should be.

However, they face a Bournemouth side in absolute freefall, losing 11 and winning just two of their last 15 games across all competitions.

Of course, the Cherries will want to get one over their former boss and return to winning ways. But their confidence is shot and Newcastle should have too much for them.

Prediction: Bournemouth 0-2 Newcastle
