The Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Wenchi in the Bono Region has congratulated Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his approval as the running mate to Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia in the forthcoming December 7 elections by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party .
Kojo Frempong in an interview with the media at Wenchi on Saturday highlighted the Manhyia South Member of Parliament’s exceptional leadership qualities demonstrated during his tenure as Minister of Education.
Boafo Kojo Frempong as he is affectionately called also showered praises on the new candidate for the NPP. He said that the successful implementation of the Free Senior High School Education (Free SHS) policy has helped increase students enrollment in the second cycle institutions across the country.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NAPO as he affectionately call efforts as Energy Minister Ghanaians haven’t experienced prolonged blackouts referred to as ” dumsor” in the local parlance Kojo Frempong reitrieted.
Regarding to Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s elevation from MP to the Vice Presidential Candidate for NPP, some Ghanaians have described him as an arrogant person but Kojo Frempong has rubbished such assertions.
The Parliamentary Candidate for NPP reiterated that Ghanaians will go to know the real NAPO and love him to vote massively for Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia and NPP to emerge victorious in the forth coming elections.
