Hon. Boakye Agyarko has officially entered the New Patriotic Party chairmanship race, declaring that rebuilding the NPP for victory in 2028 is his core task.
Speaking to the media after constituency chairmen across the country picked his nomination forms on his behalf, Agyarko expressed profound gratitude for the gesture.
“I am truly humbled by this generous gesture. It affirms the call constituency chairmen made on June 22, 2025, at Longford in Kumasi, when they asked me in unison to take up the chairmanship of our party,” he said. “I have faithfully accepted to prosecute this task.”
Agyarko emphasized unity and revival, stating: “Let me assure you that this party shall rise again. We may have gone down, but we are not out. With the dedication and commitment I see, NPP, here we come. We will rise again.”
He outlined his objective clearly: “My task as chairman will be to lead in rebuilding this party and rebranding it into a solid electoral machine, upon which our presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will stand and firmly prosecute and win the 2028 elections with ease.”
